Lowering a BRAT - Options?

Featured Replies

Currently my Brat is on stock suspension and not too interested in lifting it (already have a Jeep) but instead would like to lower it maybe 1-2 inches.. not slammed or anything.

From what I've gathered so far is the 2wd GL struts have mounts that equate to them being 2 inches less than the 4wd/Brat struts. Can I just swap on some 2wd GL struts and adjust the torsion bar to achieve the drop?

Or do people spend a bit more money and find some universal adjustable coilover sleeves and slap them on the struts?

either way you've stated works, I'm not sure about 2wd struts dropping it that much. I got 2 out of 2wd with a coil cut off. plenty of info on here tho, just search it up, some of my old treads have some info there too
