rpholz
That a Perrin DP or what? Seems like it is for the later gens like the 2.5's or newer? A TD04 on an EA82 should be VERY interesting to say the least. no markings, not sure. probly a generic Ebay DP. 3" made for a WRX I believe. once the engine is bolted in I need to measure it out and shorten it for the EA chassis. And Justin, a job eh? that's pretty exciting news

rpholz
It's been done a few times. Usually doesn't last long, but it'd be cool if it did! BAH! I disagree. PLUS my TechWorks header is designed for one so no mod, no fuss! ALSO: EVO 8 injectors should keep PLENTY of fuel to offset the more air Edited February 25, 2013 by rpholz
bratman18
Oh, I'm not saying it won't last! I have just heard others stories. Looking forward to seeing this all put together!

No leads yet.. still looking that EA is going to sound sick with that WRX exhaust. nice and low growling. any more pictures of the ride? how about this for a blast? -Justin
rpholz
funny, i can see the pic you posted on my Iphone but not my laptop. ah, oh well. I remember that day. good stuff. always great to meet another subaru enthusiast! on a side note check out how light this battery is! also i did some researching and an Orlando import generally carries EJ20g for right around a grand. thats pretty cheap for a full engine/trans set up however I really want to carry on Will's passion of pushing the EA82

rpholz
Got around to modifying the turbo, however my pliers don't have enough a$$ to get the clip back in. Ill just take it down to Subaru on Monday and ask real nice someone to do it for me. I have plenty of other things to do between now and then Edited February 28, 2013 by rpholz
rpholz
Slight update: Picked up some WRX wheels so later down the line I can fit WRX brakes and better tire options. Stuffed them under the xt6 only to find out my bushings are GONE so the one ran into the strut, put the smaller wheels back on and am waiting on poly bushings Needed a helicoil kit for one of the exhuast studs. Cheapest place: amazon, so I'm waiting on that Also ordered the 90 degree elbow for the turbo inlet. So all in all I'm just sitting here waiting on parts And I'm broke. rpholz
selling the sti exhuast to my buddy to use on his GC, just too much of a PITA to modify. looking at getting some 2.5" pipe and running it from there, anybody got a pic of they're exhuast running underneath the rear axle rather than over? rpholz
in the process of swapping injectors, can't seem to find the right o-ring tho... little gauge pod made out of pvc(2bucks compared to 30 for an actual pod) realized the downpipe will never fit, so i cut it in half, ill reshape it as i see fit.
