springer-
Hi All, I have a 2000 Outback Limited sedan and I blew the transmission today ... actually blew the front Diff. Anyway I found a 2000 Forester transmission and I have found mixed information about compatibility with my car. I can tell you what I know and maybe someone here can help. Thanks. johnceggleston
it may be slightly different, but it will bolt in and run just fine. it has the needed 4.44 final drive ratio .
CNY_Dave
Weird, all of a sudden there are a hatfull of front diff failures. Mine was from about 150,000 miles of high-speed and occasional really high speed and rough duty service, pinion bearing started whining and after many months started sounding much worse very quickly.
