91 subaru
Alright so i have a 1981 dl 1.8 4 speed manual 4x4. The interior is to say the least ugly. I have done some searching on interior options. Didnt find to much. I did read on how to dye the carpets. Really what i would like to know is what seats would be the best choice. Id like to just replace the front and rear seats. Color isnt a big concern. Any ideas on what would or wouldnt fit?

You take the rails off the the Subi seats and widen the rear hole about an 8th of an inch. They bolt straight on. I replaced the seats in the girlfriends '83 with some from a '92 and it made a world of difference.

kabarakh
Also, you'll want to keep the original seatbelt latch from the subi seat, as I recall the escort one didn't latch onto the original seatbelt.

Hitoshi
Do the Escort's seats work in the rear too?
