samuelgobrail
Hello, My name is Sam, and I'm a business student. I need your help in filling out a 1 minute survey regarding working on your car. It is literally the shortest survey in the world and will take you no time. If you could please fill it out, it would be a huge help to me! Feel free to share it with all of your friends that enjoy working on their cars. Thank you so much in advance. samuelgobrail
@Subruise, thanks for completing the survey. A buddy of mine has a WRX and a Legacy. Both are beautiful. What did you think of the survey?
johnceggleston
on the negative cynical side i thought you were trolling for email addresses. on the positive side, i thought you were interested in how we repair our cars. and maybe, how some one might market /sell repair tools to us. but, you are a student / learning. lots of us have been there. and all in all they were good questions. better than what i would have come up with. if any good comes from this, let us know. best of luck. samuelgobrail
@johnceggleston , I can completely understand the cynical approach. I rarely, if ever, give out my e-mail address because I hate spam. That's why the e-mail leaving part was completely optional. I have really appreciated the time of those taking the survey on this and other forums. I hope that I will get a large enough sample to be able to point to the data with confidence It's hard to make concrete connections with say a sample size of 5 people, lol. Additionally, thanks for the compliment. I took quite a bit of time to think through each question and consider how it could be misunderstood, etc. Please share it with other car enthusiast friends Thanks again! ivans imports
I run my own shop out of my house and use alot of subaru specific tools and homade tools installed my own hoist head planer and engine machine shop. What is the piont behind the survey ? to see how people get by fixing there own cars ?
samuelgobrail
@IvansImports the survey is trying to measure the habits of individuals when they work on their cars and wether a lift is indeed a critical tool and if so, what is the value of that tool to each person. I hope this helps answer your question.

mikaleda
Done, I don't have a lift, want a lift, or need a lift. I'd rather have a nice set of floor jacks and jack stands or a pit. Edited May 3, 2013 by mikaleda
