Brat78
Nice brat. But seriously....$700 to put a 30+ year old car on the road??!! WTF is going on in California? I've never paid more than $18 tranfer fee + $20 for the tag in Georgia on any of my older cars. No smog, no inspection required either. Most people are probably thinking, 'well, you have to live in Georgia.' Very true, but we have a house in a nice neighborhood with a detached garage, and it was less than a hundred and a half.....and the taxes are less than a thousand a year. But not to get off topic, nice freakin brat. Edited June 24, 2014 by Brat78
scrapperking
^I ask myself that almost everyday, I think I will get it tagged in AZ because I'm not trying to deal with California DMV/smog shops/California smog nazis... But on a more USMB related note going to be swapping front axles and replacing clutch and rear main seal this 4th of July weekend, went with CarQuest axles at $62 a piece and lifetime warranty and went with a $65 LUK clutch kit!
