steveo021287 Posted May 18, 2013 Share Posted May 18, 2013 Hi there needing some help I have just installed an ea82 in my brumby 4 speed gearbox and my clutch leaver is floppy, did I put the clutch plate in the wrong way or what. The original pressure plate and clutch plate are in and were Im at is what pushes the thrust bearing against the pressure plate. Please help I have had motor out three time so fare. Turbone Posted May 18, 2013 Share Posted May 18, 2013 If the clutch was on wrong you would not have been able to mate up the PP to the flywheel. Are the spring clips still attached to the lever and throwout bearing? Sometimes they will come loose during install. You may also need to adjust the cable nut so it has tension.
