moosens
I'll put on some Romanian violin music for you....I mean us. only in my case it's a Parault oil pump.Only got about 2 years if that, from it.Paraults are usually the ticket. What make was your H20 pump? Cheers
greggbrat
You have my sympathy......I had to replace mine on my 82 Brat a few weeks ago. You have to be part mechanic and part contortionist to change it out. But its not too bad.

GeneralDisorder
gregbrat - count yourself lucky it wasn't an EA82 water pump like poor caleb. EA81's are a 20 minute job. Easy stuff in comparison. GD

What make was your H20 pump? Cheers Paraults are usually the ticket.... meaning they are the reason the pump craps out? Or they are usually the way to go? :-\ I am thinking of going with a lower cost pump from Richie (I can buy one off him for cheaper than a $60 subaru one).... but if it happens to be a parault pump and they do indeed suck... hmmm maybe its worth the $$ for a subaru one. BlueSoob
Awe poor caleb.... I had to do a water pump just last week... but I will definately agree with GD here. ea81s are a nice quickie. Took me a few more than 20 mins but still not more than an hour. once again AWE...

moosens
Flowie-"the ticket" means it's a good thing.Parault is OEM.......Original Equipement per Manufacturer...or something close to that. Lucky me I have both genders to deal with,EA81 and EA82,both soon, very soon.

78TurboBrat
Caleb, just thought i would let you know you have my sympathy, NOT. Since you left my house when it happened. Going to go get that harmonic balancer later today, and a few other parts. Anything you want me to grab for ya !! just no more IC, oh and leave that 13b on there, or you can buff it off easily. just use some elbo grease. lol
