tweety
Have another thread about my trike ea81 conversion to SPFI. Have mounted the fuel pump as shown. Thought I'd test the pump first and placed the two wires onto a battery, red to positive of course and the O lug to negative. no noise from pump nothing!. Can anyone tell me if the fuel pump has signs of running?
Crazyeights
You will certainly hear and feel it running. It must either be a simple connection problem or the pump motor is bad. Try tapping on the barrel of the motor with a plastic hammer handle when it's powered up.

tweety
Can anyone tell me what PSI pressure the SPFI pump should have. there isa big selection out there.
NorthWet
IIRC, the regulator is set around 35psi, pump is same as MPFI and is good for 50-65psi. In "The States", Ford has a good, cheap (US$35 or so) replacement that was used on their 90-ish large cars and light trucks. Edit: A place to start looking for Ford pump info: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/38235-ford-fuel-pump-installed-on-an-ea82t/ Cheers!
