6 Star
Been a while since I have posted on here, but I am still actively driving my Subies. Had fun at the show today, and I took a small amount of photos. Others can feel free to add theirs as well.Waiting in line at the Fauntleroy ferry terminal. My dad's '82 DL Brat resto project and my daily '86 GL Wagon Dualrange. On the ferry, front and center. Please excuse my filthy windshield. Parked at the show. MR_Loyale
I went to the show as well. I think I counted about 7 people over 30 there including myself lol. Finally had a chance to check out and sit in a BRZ and WRX. I was surprised at the amount of room in the BRZ. The engine bay wasn't as cramped as it appears in pictures. Didn't see much old school stuff there. There was an older Outback with an STI turbo engine in it.

Only downside of this show, its always been more geared for the newer generation. These were the only two that could possibly fit the "old" catagory, unless if they also counted that Outback you are talking about.
Turbone
6 Star, I was there and your dad parked right next to me. He didnt even say hi when we were getting ready to leave And if you think you were in the minority MR Loyale, I think I was one of 5 that was over 50. I didnt bother entering my RX in the show because their Old School category needs a better year breakdown. They actually put all Legacy's in one category And I'm a fan of ALL Subaru's, doesnt matter what gen they are.
6 Star
I know, I was drooling over your RX like always. I think he was just tired and ready to go home. Believe me, I love the new stuff just as much as the old if not more. But like you said they need to break down the category better. I had a good time regardless, and I'm sure my dad did as well. I had to convince him to bring the Brat out, hes very protective of his projects and always gets nervous taking them out of the comfort zone of the garage. He has a '66 Mustang Fastback with a real Shelby 350 in it, hasn't left the garage in years... Also I think he was disappointed when we got there because it was too late to register in the actual car show. I'm an enthusiast, so naturally I appreciate everything related to cars and the work people put into them.At the autocross I was rooting for cars that a lot of people were jeering, I was surprised at some of the hateful things people were saying about some contestants just because they weren't racing a Subaru. Oh, and you can add my dad to one of those that were over 50. 6 Star, I was there and your dad parked right next to me.
