thecrazyslopoke Posted August 4, 2013 Share Posted August 4, 2013 got the oil pump back on timing belt is on and when i went to start it it started to turn over but then it wouldnt. starters working it just wont turn on. i checked the timing belts theyre both good its getting spark and i can smell fuel so im pretty sure its getting gas. any ideas on what the problem could be? If the engine was running before you took things apart and you worked on the timing belts then there is a 95% chance the problem is there. Check the compression.
