lmdew
I have a 98 Outback that is going to a friend in Denver, CO. In Colorado Springs we don't have to do emissions but Denver does. I have not had problems running conversions through emissions but I have not had to do it in Denver. Any recommendations for testers? Thanks, Larry
Legacy777
So do they just hook up the OBD2 reader or do they sniff the tail pipe? As long as you have a cat on there, it should pass emissions.
SubieTrav
I don't think it will matter which location you go to. What does matter is the attitude of the person doing the testing. I remember reading a thread on AWDPirates about someone failing twice with his WRX or STI, because of the person doing the testing. I don't think most of them will know the defferance between a 2.2 and a 2.5. They just plug in the OBDll, run it on the rollers with the sniffer up the pipe. I've passed several times with the check engine light on.
