n0rlander
Are there any key factors to spotting a first gen turbo legacy looking through craigslist add pictures? do all the turbo sedans have the spoiler on the trunk? i have been searching and searching through craigslist but usually only a small amount of information is posted. It is far more common to have a bunch of pictures posted and then no information on milage, trans, trim, badging etc etc. Anytime the add has "1992 legacy ss turbo" seems to have a very high pricetag on it. Sorry for the basic question but im at a loss for exactly which models came with the "holy grail". Are they really that hard to find? Thank you for your time. They all have hood scoops for the intercooler - but I'm not sure if any model came with a cosmetic scoop like the gen 2 GTs. If they show an under-hood photo, you'll see the intercooler on top of the engine and maybe even the scoop cowl. Scoop: Intercooler:
86BRATMAN
no intercooler stock on the US market turbo legacy, look for hood scoop, different front bumper, and usually the spoiler, all had 15" rims stock as well.
