crazyhorse001
I have an xt6 parts car, can i use it to 5 lug my hatch? Im sure i'll have to use the struts, and control arms on the front, and probably build some hybrid axles all the way around. Id like to use 15" wheels for the better selection of tires. crazyhorse001
Buller? Buller? Anyone? Is this a bolt on, or will it require serious modifications?
MilesFox
The front will require some modification. The rear is bolt on. You will have to hog out the ea81 lower control arm, the xt is too long. But you can make the xt6 control arm work with a wider track using the xt/ea82 axles, but you have to relocate the mount which requires fabrication. Otherwise, you will need a hybrid axle to use the xt6 hub, and you will have to hybrid the tophat or make holes for the strut to mount.
Uberoo
If your just after the 15" rims 6lug chevy, and Jap truck all fit with some work.Either 2 holes drilled in the rims or extra studs installed in the hubs..
NorthWet
The 6-lug is probably a more practical, less frustrating, and cheaper way to go.
el_freddo
^ What they said... then send me your rear 5 lug setup Seriously though, it shouldn't be too hard to work out the front end setup if you're really keen to use the 5 lug setup.CheersBennie
