NorthWet Posted November 12, 2013 Share Posted November 12, 2013 What seal is it popping? What does your pressure gauge indicate (or do you only have an oil light)? If it is really overpressure, the problem is probably in a stuck pressure relief valve in the oil pump body. Even then, it seems unlikely that enough pressure would be built up to blow-out the oil filter. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Loyale 2.7 Turbo Posted November 12, 2013 Share Posted November 12, 2013 Unless it is a Fram Filter, which my "BumbleBeast" Blows too, in that case is due to the Low placement of the Threaded hole on the Filter, which only allows to grab one and a half or two turns, which is not enough to held it in place.
