jono
Has anyone done a BOV for EA82T , either first or second generation manifolds. Here is mine, as yet , unfinished , untried, untested Uploaded with ImageShack.us it is turbo draws through IMPCO 200 mixer, so it is rather volatile mix goin' through the hot little snail down there. Have been getting fluffy accelerator pedal at high revs after going for next gear up, and takes a while to gather the momentum once things sort themselves out, so it has been suggested to add on a diverter valve to theoretically take the load off the turbine and let it keep spinning (ready for next cog ) The pressured fuel air mix needs to be vented off somewhere and not to the atmosphere as it is a bit hard on mucus linings or worse if it ignites maybe I could evacuate it post turbo on the exhaust side ?? I was to decide whether it vented to pre mixer IMPCO propane carby but that is essentially to atmosphere side, not containing the burNy mix, also enrichening the small amount recirculated (if it all works that is ! ) so, the obvious and convenient choice was to dump it just after the mixer, mixing pre mixed fuel air with more of same) I am, as are many others, unsure as to what that return pressure will do to the underside of the mixers diaphragm for the moment. I suspect no different to that case I have without a BOV when the fluffy pedal occurs. Any experience guys ??
