Carl B.
Need a new fuel pump for 91 loyale spfi. Replacements are so expensive I was wondering if someone new a universal pump that would work. Or anyone know the specs of the stock one? thanks *edit: found a cheap and readily available fuel pump. airtex e2000 stock replacement for older f-series and the Merkur coincidentally. Gloyale
Universals with a High pressure (above 40) and at least 180 GPH will surfice. Still gonna be spendy. I run a walbro 255 in mine with an EJ22.

Carl B.
I found specs for a factory replacement pump. http://www.fuelpumpu.com/vehicle-search.aspx# That walbro 255 sounds like a little much; used one on a Merkur at 22psi of boost and it supplied enough fuel. Thanks for the quick replies Edited December 28, 2013 by Carl B.
Carl B.
Used an Airtex e2000 fuel pump. It was referenced when I was searching for the ford aux tank pump. Seems to work just fine, fits in the stock location using a hose clamp, and only cost $65! Edited December 29, 2013 by Carl B.
suprjohn
I got one that was listed for my '89 DL, SPFI from rock auto for $20 just because there weren't many left and I saw how much other pumps were going for. The one on mine still seems tho work fine, but I wanted one for just in case... John
