CamoMan
NO JOKE..THIS WAS LAST MONDAY WHILE I WAS AT WORK. i THINK HE CAME BACK AND GOT THE HONDA. THE NEWS ARTICLE READ "GREEDY THEIF TAKES 2NDS, 3RDS" THIS REALLY SUX CAUSE NOW WE HAVE ONLY 1 VEHICLE.
northguy
With all of the vehicles out there, why would someone take 3 vehicles ranging in age from 10 to 26 years old? One new rig alone has a higher resale value :-\ .
PHATBRAT
No one saw anything????!!! Something doesn't sound right here. Who in their right mind would come back 2 times? We are talking large items here, not just car radios or anything. Well, there is a bright side to every story though. Use all the insurance $$ to put toward a new WRX. CamoMan
Yeah, I wish! The honda only had liability, the Nissan didn't run, the Brat I just got running but not road worthy. My best guess is scrap metal. Prices have skyrocketed on steel lately, so has the payout for scrap. Several different people have told me they suspect this whitetrash crackhead with a roll back who lives a few miles from here. I drove by his house and saw the roll back but no cars. He lives with his mom and the truck isn't registered to him. Also his liscense is revoked. I just have no proof cause he moved them fast i guess, or hid them well. The cops have to have a witness saying they saw him in action or the cars at his house. By the way...I live in the country close the road on the top of a hill so i cant really see my neighbors from my house and it's just woods all around and in between. mr.radon
Sounds like you need to keep a few Rottys on the loose in the back yard there. My sister is a vet and taught me how to train a couple to be good watch dogs. Had a very nice, athletic, 115 pound Rotty for a long time; trained also to be a pack dog. She was very motivated to please and very obedient. I left her in my new LeBarron convertible one night while I camped. She liked to sleep in the back, also hard to see back there. Well some punk wanted my new Alpine stereo, opened the unlocked door at like 3AM. He ended up needing 35 stitches in his arms, hands and calf since I wasn't there to issue the release command right away. I had to wake up, get out of my sleeping bag and tent then run a few hundred feet. She was dragging the hapless junky into the ditch, he was trying to hit her with a stick when I told her to release and sit. I did first aid to stop the bleeding and had to drive the dumb rump roast to the hospital since we were in BFE (Mount Baker trailhead). What really sucked is I never got the blood stains out of the passenger seat. The guy never said a word to me nor moved a muscle. My dog sat in the back with her head on my shoulder staring at him the whole drive to the hospital. The hospital call 911 for me. Ends up the police found a dozen boosted items in the guy's truck. The officer thanked me but avoided my Rotty even though she was wagging her tail and wanting the reward (pat on the head) for protecting the car. Hondasucks
Go borrow a car worth stealing, or get some junkbox (Make it look like you got some insurance $$$ and went out and splurged on a new car) and set up a camcorder and watch it, and wait for it to disappear.. If he already stole three cars, I'm sure he;'d come back for another...
subarubrat
Same bait, but wait with the .223, catch him in the act and do what needs to be done. You live in the woods, figure the rest out.

morgantruce
Once when I was away on vacation, I left a thoroughly rusted 18 year old Subaru parked in my garage. It had NO brakes, battery or muffler----and was up on blocks with two wheels off. When I arrived home, I found a garage window broken, and ALL of my tools AND the Subaru gone. Jibs
I would check all the local wrecking yards, check with mechanics, and other car places in your area in case they still have them. They might be able to help in determining who sold them or anything. Thats what I did when my grandpa's old studebaker got stolen, we got it back though. RavenTBK
Oh wow! I just got a Coke from the vending machine down the hall, and it had EA71 Japan stamped on the bottom! Sorry..that was cold. :\ Just trying to lighten up the mood.
TROGDOR!
I'd suggest using an old early 80's American land barge as your "bait." If they really did steal them for scrap, something that weighs a lot and has tons of metal will be an irresistible target.

GeneralDisorder
Compound Bow, or Cross Bow. Aim to stick it through both butt cheeks - that will get his attention. Silent too.... finish the job with an aluminium baseball bat to the head. Closed casket for sure.... that is if you don't bury him deep enough. This way no one finds any spent shell casings, or lead on his person. If you want to do it like a pro, get a silenced .22 pistol, and a small nylon bag to catch your brass. Dress in all black, or camo depending on the location. Body goes in the back of the vehicle he's trying to steal, and him, his truck, and the car all go in the local lake, or to your friend at the wrecking yard. At least you can fanisize about doing it. If you actually use any of my sugestions, I don't want to know about it...... GD
subarubrat
"And wtf is this about .45acp having more 'punch' than a .223? " More dropping power, true, but the 223 lets you stand off. But if you move quick and get down from your position you might be able to get him to trade the location of your cars for the false promise of calling for medical attention. oddcomp
it might be worth the time/money to look up gps tracking on the internet its basically a gps with a datalogger find someone good enough to "add" it to his rollback wait a few days and then have same said person retrive the unit and then look at logs some actually report on the move also but those obviously will cost more money but .. when you out 3 cars spending a few pennies doesn't seem so bad ok here i got bored here is a link to just a quick search i did http://vivisimo.com/search?query=gps+tracking&v%3Asources=Web btw should that work and you find the location of your cars <or sad to say the parts> and possibly many others .. i think then the police might be willing to listen
