ilogan
Has anybody out there changed the oxygen sensor on an older wagon? I need your expertise!! I have found a few a drawings and instructions, but am wondering if it will be as simple as it looks. Thanks, 220K and climbing!
Scrub2k
I Havent Done it on a Soob yet but As long as you have the Right Socket for the O2 Sensor its pretty simple, somtimes you need some Penetrating Oil to get it out, or Heat but either way its pretty simple. archemitis
you might have to drop the exhuast if you cant get at it with a socket. i have always used a big open end wrench, with the y pipe sitting on the ground.
ShawnW
Use a 6 point 22MM wrench or a true oxygen sensor socket. Look for a high quality socket as the cheap ones expand and the solid ones hold their grip.
MorganM
I bought an O2 sensor socket. It's slick and you can use your breaker bar. This puppy is gonna be in there SOLID! Worth the $6 to me. It's even easier then reading the directions Drop exhuast from heads, unscrew O2 sensor, screw in new one, plug in and go! Might have to reset your computer to clear the ECM of the error code.
