Dinky26
On the rear axel is there just one bearing per side and it is wide like the picture below? When I converted my drums to disks the right side looked a little on the dry side or lacking grease. Of course this was blocking my view of the lack there of, and of course this took me a few tries of putting the disc and hub on to see that it was holding me away from having proper placement of the caliper......... Anyway just one bearing per side?

idosubaru
not sure, but it's nothing more than that big bearing and a seal or two...or maybe even the bearing alone, it may simply be a Subaru OEM bearing. it's in a detached garage not heading out there now. Dinky26
Yep, don't blame you there. Thanks for your input. I'm thinking I might order a pair from Rockauto price of 2 less then one from Oreilys.
NorthWet
IIRC, the original bearing was multipiece, and the replacement is the one piece.
aba4430
I am having issues with linking posts etc., but I recently purchased a pair of bearings from Advance Auto. They were National 513056 bearings. The boxes looked beaten up and these are certainly NOS, but genuine NTN bearings from Japan. ADAP has many attractive coupons, and I paid ~$60 for the pair. Search for my post from December. I have not installed these as yet.
