Dinky26 Posted January 29, 2014 Share Posted January 29, 2014 Stay away from Pennzoil, IMO.... I heard many years ago their oil was junk. Feel free to expand on this one SOMEBODY. I know things could have changed too. I have used Mobil, & Valvoline and can't say any bad about them, aside from Mobil making a mess of some of our environment. idosubaru Posted January 29, 2014 Share Posted January 29, 2014 brand is benign. change it often and use synthetic in turbo engines. other than that they all meet basic specifications and your issues making high mileages won't be oil related, so it's a pointless question. unless you're towing huge loads, racing, or other extreme conditions but i doubt that. Just wanted to clarify if this engine was oil specific as some car engines are these days by way of brand name. Of course I always use fully synthetic anyway, that goes without saying.
