Natrboy
I know I am being anal about this but I won't sleep unless I do this. I made a nasty comment about the folks on Cardomain, and just wanted to say I'm sorry if anyone out there digs cardomain. I was just suprised by all the harsh competition that goes on over there. Here at USMB it seems everyone is pretty cool. I really don't want to piss anybody off. If I am being stupid fine, at least I cleaned my side of the Subaru. northguy
What is this strange word you have posted? Apology? Is that French, or Slavic, or Russian? Seriously, there have been flame wars on the board, but they are usually short-lived and are controlled. Still, I, for one, appreciate the gesture. I doubt there was any offense taken or someone might have PM'd you about it. But thanks anyway - your heart is in the right place.
Turbone
Theres no need to walk around on egg shells here. Lots of us have made "Faux pas" (Fr.), and if we dont step on any toes its ok  Intentional stabs and pokes usually are between people that know each other well enough to not cause hurt feelings Rants about certain things are exceptable I think, but it depends upon the topic. Eh, just my .000002

teasdam
heh heh, I've never visited the cardomain site before. That does seem like a batch of dorks with big heads and small.....shoes. I have to ask...why the general disdain for "ricers"? Aren't we all ricers if we drive Subarus? I mean, if it was a Chevy forum, it would make sense. Anyone want to hear every excrutiating detail about my car? PM me.
WJM
ricers are those punks who have form and fit before all else. THey have those wings and body kits, and all that other BS...Me, I am FUNCTION. I dont care about form or fit. I make stuff to fuction, i dont care how ugly it looks. Those who are REAL TUNERS, are not ricers. $190 on plug wires? No way. I'll stick to my $30 Accell. nutt7
I used to drive a honda and called other hondas ricers...sometimes saturns and cavaliers are ricers...to me the definition does not refer to the cars origins, rather the dumb look and uneven cut springs and non-functioning parts or stickers of non-existent parts or trim levels... Me, I am a car guy. if it is quality, or fast, or creative, or rare, I love it!
WJM
EXACTLY! That's just what the term to me is.
JWX
Me too (or would that be three) I've always hated when people referred to all Japanese cars as "ricers".
