Pilch
I have an EA82 L series wagon which I brought for the motor that will eventually power my trike. I have done all the tests for compression and so forth and now I am at the stage of removing pollution parts. The carburetor has a million hoses running to the pollution canister and other places and I am wondering if I can just block odd these hoses and still run the motor?. Any advise or suggestions on this would be most appreciated. I would prefer not to but if I have to replace the carby can you recomend the most popular conversion for same. Loyale 2.7 Turbo
Welcome! You posted this on the Wrong Forum... but here is your Answer: Change that crappy hitachi carburator, with a Weber 32/36, it will clean the area from the Spaghetti of hoses, while gives better lower end torque, better response, and the characteristic Boxer Rumble Sound at full throttle, plus more advantages. See here for Photos & Guides on the Conversion: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/71510-ideas-on-swaping-a-weber-carb-on-ea82's/ Kind Regards.
