m12-lrv
I would like to lift the front end 2" mostly for looks. Car will be mostly street driven. Question is, would it be un cosher to only make the blocks for the struts? I want to avoid camber issues and a whole lift kit seems like a lot of work
81EA81
Just a strut top on your Brat or any EA81 lift will be o.k. for camber, as long as its drilled correctly,BUT, it will be forcing the C.V axles to max length, causing very extreme wear. To lift just the front you do not need a whole lift, obviously... just the front. This will include dropping the engine and transmission cross member equal to the struts. Do abit of research on your type of car,aka an EA81. You may be satisfied by using factory adjustments on the shocks under the spring perch to gain upwards to an inch of height under the front end. Keep in mind, your car was designed with a pretty extreme rake originally, so it will still be noticeable if adjusting within factory limits. Is your car an '81-87? Good luck!
