colemanapp
bought a 92 Loyale with my son. After very little work (ok we welded the exhaust back together) it passed inspection and got some plates. This thing is a blast. src="//player.vimeo.com/video/87649803" width="500" height="281" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen>
100 acre woods rally excursion from colemanapp@gmail.com on Vimeo.
and thanks for all the information you've put together.

ebarb
No way. My dad and I were there too with my 81 Wagon. What did you think of that old 2 stroke Saab? Sounds like a swarm of bees coming down the road.

colemanapp
Only saw the saab at night once and everyone near us swore it was a VW Bug. I could see that ole sloped back of the saab tho. I'm a big 2 stroke fan from dirt bikes too. We know the trail systems down there so usually take our plated dirt bikes to view but it was more fun in that wagon. I figured if it made the trip we threw at it, it'd be worth investing a little more into it. I can tell theres a leaking head gasket and the struts are shot. Other than that, it appears to have been driven in a straight lien down the highway by one person with the radio off most of the time. I'm sujre it thinks its stolen now. Only rode in one other Subaru before this and it was a brat in 1985. Went from Vail, CO to Lake Tahoe, then Yosemite and back to Vail, three of us with big old long ski's, plastic back seats with a camper top. New fan of the Subaru here.
