subyrally
just wondering, do you think it would be possible to graft a mitsu eclipse body kit onto a 1986 rx? i know i would have to cut and bend the fenders to fit, prolly be wider at the bumpers. im asking cause i found a perfect body kit on some ricer eclipse at a junk yard, the kit doesnt even have a scratch on it, my guess is that the motor went on it. but do you think it would be worth the time? it would be kinda cool to see a rx with a modern twist to it. i prolly shoulda took pics of the car. carfreak85
My guess is that you're gonna have to cut the bumper to make it narrower. Cutting will be required, and lots of bondo or fiberglass.
subyrally
yay for bondo!!!!!, hey it could work though, i dont know where i would get the $ for it though
carfreak85
I say go for it! If you don't like it, just put the factory bumper back on and sell the kit to some dope for his 91 civic or something!
suba
Anything is possible!.....especially if you happen to have a sawzall and bulk supply of duct tape!

Gregg
I've been thinking of adapting either a 'Lude or Supra kit to my XT... the 2nd gen (88-91) 'Lude has a kit by Kaminari that is identical to the one Kaminari used to make for the XT (but the bumper cutout is on the wrong side). Supra skirts fit an XT without cutting, so I figured a 2nd gen Supra kit would work also. Depends on which is cheaper, lol.

svxpert
not to hijack the thread but i have a new Kaminari kit waiting for an owner to take off my hands. i figure it might be easier than fabricating one. if anyone is interested, mail me at: subarueast@yahoo.com
