bratman18
Just use complete strut assemblies from an 02-07 impreza or wrx. They bolt right in and lower a forester. It's a great set up. And a lot cheaper than coil overs.
1 Lucky Texan
dunno how much shipping would be, but I have a set of springs off my 06 wrx wagon. less than 1900 miles on them. I'd like to get $40 if that doesn't seem unreasonable. know anyone headed your direction from DFW? Edited April 15, 2014 by 1 Lucky Texan
bratman18
You'd have to get Impreza struts to match those^springs. You don't want to put Impreza springs on Forester struts or it'll wear the struts out much quicker.

1 Lucky Texan
check RockAuto. I THINK there may be some spring+strut assemblies there, or maybe Amazon? usually, folks are just buying struts. Check prices on KYB struts. Then maybe shop for some used WRX wagon springs? check around here too for ideas;http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/ Edited April 16, 2014 by 1 Lucky Texan
bratman18
Look on nasioc or a local subaru forum. People sell sets of strut assemblies all the time. Usually 300 or less for a set of 4 ready to bolt in.
