kirzick Posted May 2, 2014 Share Posted May 2, 2014 Had no oil pressure on the dash. So i installed a aftermarket gauge.It works but it reads at about 15 when its running. Does this sound right?Also the gauge takes forever to go back to 0 after the cars shut off. Could i have a bad sender? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TallonX Posted May 2, 2014 Share Posted May 2, 2014 (edited) Nah that's about right, when warm 10 at an idle, progressive by 10 more or less by every 1000rpm, it's the oil pressure relief? spring, covered in the owner's manual I believe Pressure will hang until relieved, my stock setup does it too If you weren't getting enough pressure it'd sound like an overgrown singer sewing machine...
