Tat2Brat Posted May 17, 2014 Share Posted May 17, 2014 I cant seem to get the cyl. heads off of my spare ea81 I dont want to hurt the heads but its stuck in place Cant get rocker assembly hard ware off but head bolts are out Rods are able to wiggle around tried some different solvents but no go What gives? Crazyeights Posted May 18, 2014 Share Posted May 18, 2014 Look 3 more times for hidden or missed fasteners The head may also be glued to the studs with rusty corrosion type stuff. Try flipping the block up on it's side (studs up) and soak each stud area with LOTS of Deep Creep, or PB Blaster or something. Be careful and patient if it's a good engine.
