Subarule
Or maybe it's a timing thing. This is for an '86 GL. I'm in the Longview/Kelso area. Pls don't tell me how to do it myself - I'm elderly, somewhat disabled, have no tools or mechanical skills. I can talk about car stuff and systems but can't work on them. Can anyone help me out? l75eya
Bump. Anybody that can lend a hand?
Subarule
Thanks for the bump. Can't have a shop do it since it's a modified system with the Weber replacing the factory Hitachi, and the retrofitting. Illegal in WA state for certified shops to work on fuel system mods. And who now working in a shop knows how to work on carburetors? Not many left with solid experience. Subarule
czny
Not Subaru but here's some reading material for anyone helping Subarule: http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=45126.0 My arms aren't long enough.
Subarule
Good stuff - thanks. I saved the link into My Favorites. Here's my car's symptom: diesels really bad about 50% of the time when I shut it off. Seems to need higher RPM setting for idling.
