breeford828
I recently purchased a used legacy and I am now noticing that I cannot lock my car from the inside or outside of my car. I have to manually push each lock button on every single door. I can unlock it with my key, the automatic unlock, and the one on my door. The problem is I cannot actually lock it, if I click the lock button on my key or on my door it makes a noise as if it is trying to lock but it doesn't actually lock. any suggestions?! Fairtax4me
I would have to suspect a chafed wire causing a short, or a poor connection. Possibly a bad relay or circuit breaker. Is there a lock button on the other door as well? (I'm not that up to date on the interiors of the newer models)
1 Lucky Texan
I wonder if the car ever had to be Slim-Jimmed and something is messed-up in there? wait, every door? that is weird, seems like connections and stuff good enough to unlock, would be good enough to lock . yeah, some kinda compromised supply of power???
