Suba_GL_87
I'm not sure which is relay switch. Fuel pump relay, ignition relay, kick down relay. Number 2 photo; it's ignition coil? Let me know. Thanks
BirdMobile
#2 photo is definitely the fuel pump control module. I have a thread going about its wiring. . . Edited July 19, 2014 by BirdMobile
Suba_GL_87
Oh ok. I thought its ignition coil... but Where's tachometer by the ignition coil?
BirdMobile
The tachometer (in the dash) uses the yellow wire off the ignition coil to get its pulses. The fuel pump control module also looks for the pulses on the yellow ignition coil wire in order to see if the engine is running, to cut power to the fuel pump if it's not. . . BirdMobile
Here's my thread about the fuel pump control module: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/147752-ea-82-distributorcoil-voltage-question/?do=findComment&comment=1240253 It is about the distributor, coil, fuel pump, and module wiring. Suba_GL_87
Thanks. I just need to know what's relay switch of four them. Before to ej22 hardness hook up. Edited July 19, 2014 by Suba_GL_87
Gloyale
Those 4 relays are From left to right Defrost Blower motor (heater) Headlamp R Headlamp L None of them should be messed with for EJ swap. Second pic.....Fuel pump control relay..... Attach your EJ tach wire to the Yellow wire at that connector Attach your IG. Switch power "on" the EJ harness to the Black/white wire at that connector. Attach your EJ fuel pump power out (from EJ Harness) to Blue/red wire at that connector. Edited July 19, 2014 by Gloyale
