El Brato
He Folks, I'm looking for replacement hubcaps for my 1979 BRAT. It has the white spoke wheels The hubcaps are very thin metal and go over the wheel studs BEFORE the wheel is installed I'd really like to get replacements just like them, but I suppose if there were different ones that snapped in from the exterior of the wheel, I'd take them as well. Picture below. Thanks in advance for any help
moosens
Those are Jackman wheels. Good luck with finding caps. They do show up but used and infrequently.
El Brato
Jack man wheels eh? Odd thing is I have two sets of them and they aren't quite identical. There is a minor difference in the offset on the two sets. Is Ebay my best / only bet for finding replacements? Scott
spicypeanut
I don't believe those are jackman wheels. Looks more like the oem subaru wagon wheels (that are similar to jackman wheels) to me.
moosens
Look close at each spoke. You will see the "J" for Jackman. They came in boxes marked Jackman - Made for Subaru. I have those boxes. The more curved spokes are for later generations. The flat spokes are 75-79 and Gen I Brat.
moosens
J will only be on One spoke
Subieguy
Not Jackmans
moosens
The top pic with the flying saucer center cap , that is from a Jackman wheel for first gen. I have them new in boxes. The ugly rounded wheels shown are probably whatever you guys say they are.
Wiclipse95
I need a flying saucer center cap as well, let me know if there's an extra floating around. Thank you
SirRoary
I've got loads of the pop-in from the exterior center caps if you're still looking for them
