boosted to 26psi
i have a 99 impreza obs with the 2.2 phase 2 cali spec. going over the wiring diagram it looks like the injectors are ground fired from the ecu, but have constant power from the main relay pin c1 and c2. at the ecu pin, it looks like it has 12v power at each injector pin a4, a13, a14, a15 until the injector is fired which then the ecu would ground the pin, firing the injector. is this correct? another question is how are they fired. are they batch where unlike most are cylinder 1 and 3 then 2 an 4. are they fired 1 and 2, then 3 and 4. easier way of understanding what im talking about is on an ecu with 2 outputs for injectors. it would fire cylinder 1 on one output then fire cylinder 3 on the other output. Gloyale
Ground fired sequentially. Spark however is gang fired 1+2, 3+
boosted to 26psi
Ground fired sequentially. Spark however is gang fired 1+2, 3+4 thats what i figured they were. now the ej22 uses the 6/7 signal for timing correct?
Fairtax4me
If you're referring to the crank and cam sensor signals, yes those are used to determine crankshaft angle and cam position to differentiate between top dead center on compression or exhaust stroke. Together they're used to determine ignition timing and the start of the fuel injection sequence.
