Brett!
I was browsing though the Ge1 one pictures and I saw a group shot with this Teal Leone. I have the same wheels on my Brat and was wondering what they did to the suspension and wheel arches to achieve that stance. Anyone know who's it is, or know if there is a build post? speeds2much
It's mine. You have to not care about things like "ride quality" or "kidneys" to get this low. First remove the front springs and cut the rubber stopper. Front is now done. Back you take apart the torsion and reassemble at the lowest setting after you cut the rubber stopper. Get a list of all your genetic matches for emergency kidney transplant 'cause it's gunna ride like a runaway basketball. Man does it look cool though. Brett!
How is your clearance with your fenders. Does it rub when you turn? Currently with these wheels i rub slightly every once in a while when I am close to fulley cocked with some suspension articulation.
the_bbgun
You can be this low and still have travel. I used Kevint143's method he used on his brat '85 GL 10 front struts with 3 coils cut off of the spring. I recommend cutting a little at a time and then checking it as you go. Don't go big because you can't go back. Then I clocked the torsion bar and replaced the rear shocks with Nissan Frontier front shocks. I'm not sure the part number for this but if you'd like I can figure it out. Rides like stock but pretty low. If I had a different wheel I might be a little lower but I'm pretty stoked on where it's at. I'm curious to the offset on those cragar wheels though. Do either of you know?
