Tye
I was just thinking how cool it would be to somehow get my 1990 subaru loyale to be rwd but still have the pushbutton 4wd. is there any cheap reliable way of doing this, is it worth it? Vegablade
Oh, this again...... No...There is no simple way to make a push button RWD/4WD happen. Swapping a transfer case with an electrical actuator would be the easiest (Not actually easy). These cars were not designed to be RWD, you will break stock parts doing it. I know because i have done it several times. If you want to tackle such a project start reading and learning and saving lots of money. Also we need the dancing padlock smiley! Tye
Thanks for the advice, I might as well not try to fix something that isnt broken At least not yet! Edited September 6, 2014 by Tye

Even if you break it, it would be easier to just fix it than swap your entire running gear. I would suggest finding an OEM RWD car and starting there if you want a 1337 drift mobile.
