Scooner
Hey all, I'm new to first Gen and Brats, I am in the midst of working a deal to buy a 1980 Brat and a 79' they both have the toppers on them but the one of the 79' is in really good shape with rear glass and intact locks. The 80' has the rear glass missing like i've seen on so many. My question is how much are these toppers worth in good condition? Also, she has 2 extra good condition sliding side windows she is throwing in as well. While we're at it how much do complete rear jump seats go for with the frame? She is also throwing in 3 sets! Plus a set of jackman spokes, and any other part i can carry. After writing all that down i am thinking $600 for all of this is not too bad of a deal. Let me know what you guys think. PS. How much would the 79' go for? It's not been trashed and isn't too rusted out but the EA71 is seized. 4WD manual. Thanks alot, i appreciate it! ironworkerboomer
Toppers are a pain and costly to ship but depends on if someone has to have it, last one I gave away. Jackmans if they are 14's $200 easy. side windows I'd Ebay. 79 get her running and Ebay. This is just my opinion. I'd pay $600 for the lot but i'm a hoarder not a seller. Scooner
Haha and you're a union man as well? I am a proud elevator union man and worked with some pretty cool iron workers in the past. Thanks for your input!

turbosubarubrat
I sold a set of rear seats to a guy out in i think indiana for $175 and plus $150 to drive to portland and ship it using greyhound. Also sold a canopy that was in good shape for $150. You could basicly sell the rear seats and canopy and get 2 free brats. The 79 should be worth $300-600 depending on the shape of the body and interior. If you have roll bars or brush guards with them those are work some money too.
