jlothar1
So I own a 2001 Legacy L Wagon that is a manual 4 cylinder. I've had it for about 6 months and it's been great so far; my mechanic states that it needs new rear sway bar bushings and end links. He lets me buy the parts myself(to save a little $). In searching for these parts I've found that there are various sizes to be had; is there a proper resource to tell me definitevely what I need? For example... http://www.ebay.com/itm/W0406-15-Whiteline-Polyurethane-15MM-Rear-Sway-Bar-Bushing-Kit-Subaru-/181030081287?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2001|Make%3ASubaru|Model%3ALegacy|Submodel%3AL|Engine+-+Liter_Display%3A2.5L&hash=item2a263bd307&vxp=mtr http://www.amazon.com/Beck-Arnley-101-5723-Stabilizer-Link/dp/B002V9ABY8/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1414663594&vehicle=2001-13-64-105--16-6-6-167-108---452--12-0&sr=1-2&ymm=2001%3Asubaru%3Alegacy&keywords=sway+bar+end+link I think these are what I need.... But the more searching I do the more confusing it becomes.
Fairtax4me
You need to measure the diameter of the rear sway bar to find out what size you have to order the correct size bushing. The end links are a ball-joint style on the 2000 and up cars. Look up the parts on a parts store website like Rockauto. eBay can be hit or miss for car parts unless you know exactly what you're looking for.
