Hey there I got an ea82 out of the car i'm gonna crack into but I forgot to loosen the crank pulley bolt before the motor came out. Now there's no fly wheel to grip. I see one option is to hold the cam still with a spanner tool but I don't have one. Any creative ways to hold it still to break it loose? Thanks in advance

I did the very same thing, forgot to loosen before the motor came out. Used an air impact wrench and she came right off.

I used a rubber strap wrench which worked well for me.

You can also make a spanner wrench from a piece of flat steel and 2 bolts, which will work on the cam sprockets.

Holding a Cam sprocket to try and stop the crank is asking for belt slippage/damage...........Fine if the belt is junk.....not good if it needs reused.

Also.....never do this to tighten the crank bolt with a new belt.......You will ruin the new belt.
