stoogesman
Hi everyone, My '85 DL is in need of some fresh rear wheel bearings. I am a little bit confused on what I see on Napa/RockAuto as to what part(s) I need. I see there is an inner and outer bearing. Napa shows the inner and the outer which are below: Inner: http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/Wheel-Bearing-Inner-Rear-Wheel/_/R-BRGBR30206_0141319794 Outer: http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/Wheel-Bearing-Outer-Rear-Wheel/_/R-BRGBR30204_0141319795 Then Napa also lists this bearing... Is this both inner and outer combined?? http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/Wheel-Bearing-Rear-Wheel/_/R-ATM2123001_0418666376 I also read that I should buy both inner and outer replacement seals. From what I see, they don't come with the Napa bearings. Any idea where I can get those and what the part # would be? Thanks! Craig

The first option is like the original two peice style and the latter is the newer style one piece race. Both styles will work just fine Yes always replace seals, Napa should have the part number Edited December 10, 2014 by mikaleda

stoogesman
Give them a call their more than likely going to need to look it up in the book That I will do. The I just moved so I am HOPING this Napa has a little bit more enthusiasm than the last. The last Napa I dealt with would look in there crappy computers and say, "nah, we don't got it". In most cases I would have to search for part #'s. Thanks legacy specialist for the info. I'll be huffing and puffing to do the rear bearings this weekend. Wish us luck! Also, I am still a tad bit confused. So this bearing in the link below: http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/Wheel-Bearing-Rear-Wheel/_/R-ATM2123001_0418666376 This bearing is the inner? I will still need to purchase the outer? I am on Rockauto.com and only see the new style inner bearings. The outer rear bearings for sale are all for front wheel drive Subi's.... stratman977
You have to punch your car back into the system to navigate on there after you click on the link. It's comes in handy even if you don't buy from subaru. Heres the rear. http://parts.subaru.com/showAssembly.aspx?makeName=subaru&modelYear=1985&modelName=dlglgl10rsrxdl-wagon&ukey_assembly=6028557&ukey_category=54106&assembly=a10-281-b1
