G'paX8
I recently became the owner of my 3rd Subaru. It is a 97 Legacy Outback and I love it (as I have my previous Subarus). This one seems to have a significant pull to the left. I can see than I need to put new CV boots on, but there is no play when I jack it up and attempt to rock or tip the wheel. Where should I look next?
Fairtax4me
Probably needs an Alignment. If you have any play in the tie rod ends or ball joints replace those before having an alignment done. Make sure all 4 tires are properly inflated. If it's all solid, take it and get a 4 wheel alignment done. Edited December 15, 2014 by Fairtax4me
johnceggleston
pull to the left when driving straight? when braking? front end alignment would be my starting point. even before replacement axles.
G'paX8
It pulls to the left when driving straight. Applying the brakes doesn't make it any worse........ I will check the ball joints and then go for the alignment. Thanks
