transaxle bearing 02 forester....does the engine need to be pulled

Recommended Posts

My forester is an automatic,

Apparently there is a shaft that links motor to the transmission and he feels the bearing is at that point exiting the motor.

With 300k I just don't know if it is worth it????

Engine sounds good and trany does too??

How difficult is it to remove the engine and replace the part?

Find a new Subaru Mechanic.

The engine flex plate is bolted to the crank.

The Torque Converter is bolted to the flex plate and splined to the transmission.

All bearings are deep in the transmission or the front diff.
