ferp420
so i was messin around with my spare car parts and noticed the intake boot shrinks way down right before the mouth of the throtle body so i grabed a 2" pvc 45º fitting and carved it up till it fit inside the intake boot i heated up the rubber and streched the rubber of the intake till it fit it seems to have more throtle responce off idle so i think its worth the $2 and 10 min to at least try it

Gloyale
Does the hood hit when closed? It might on a non lifted rig.
ferp420
it would be very close but i think it would clear ill check on my buddys car it seems to help more with light throtle than wide open
jono
some of those PVC pipes you inserted go all soft from the heat of underbonnet - but good idea - you seem to have taken a soft baffle effect from the air flow meter - resulting in better light throttle response (maybe not even a dyno could detect )
ferp420
Update The intake boot ended up slowly spliting open the longer i drove the worse it got till the car wouldent run anymore and the intake boot was wasted oh well
Crazyeights
You could plum it with a 90 degree silicone bend and tube if it really made a difference. [EDIT] from above ^^^ it seems like this might hit the hood? Oh well... Edited March 22, 2015 by Crazyeights
