Skylar
What's the difference between.them? I'm an old gen guy & I just picked up my first legacy. It needs new struts and springs bad. Found a guy parting a 94 fwd impreza. What's the difference in Sprint rate etc? Will it make the legacy sit lower? Or at stock height. 86hatchback
I believe the fronts are the same but the rears would lift it a lot, the mounting point on a fwd knuckle is much lower so the strut longer to compensate.

Skylar
My legacy is a 93. Impreza was a 94. I was told rears are longer, but I found some stock wrx suspension that I'm gonna grab to throw on this thing.
Fairtax4me
Top mounts may be different. As for length, I can't say between Impreza and legacy. Legacy struts are almost the same length AWD vs FWD.

I know for sure front wheel drive and all wheel drive legacy front struts are identically the same I just swap them in my brothers car
