outbacknut Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 I have a 2000 Outback sport i use as a rally car and it has an alternator with a three pin plug on it how ever there are only 2 wires going to it. My question is can you put an alternator from 98 and back with the 2 wire plugs on in place of the other style as they both only have 2 wires going to them.
