dudesmccool
I know everyone on this forum is a sucker for A: pics and B: swaps and actually C: everything awesome. I do have A and B thought. Last year I painted my engine bay+, lost my job-, moved+/-, became even more broke-. Now resealed most of the engine+, installed re-drilled flywheel+/-(I over paid) new clutch disk+ and xt6 pressure plate+. Last weekend my awesome brothers and I bolted the 96 EJ up to my 92 Loyale+++. Now I'm tackling the wiring and cooling. Sorry the pics are so blurry guys

I see it was a manual, I hope you put in the D.R. tranny also to complete this sweet ride. Edited January 30, 2015 by Fish-N-Fool
dudesmccool
I bought my adapter plate from SJRlift in Bellingham, WA. No d/r, that will be a present to myself in the future. Right now I wouldn't use a d/r enough to justify the price and labor.

I got mine at Pull N save for $55 bucks I couldn't stand my S/R 5 speed so had to trash it for the D/R Hope to finish it up tomorrow. Just need a few parts I forgot to get once I get that done, next is my homemade 3" lift kit and 15" wheels and tires.

bratsrus1
Hey Cool This is Jerry, i have a 85 hatch back that i have a 93 impreza 1.8 with it's wiring harrness in it. I have less that 1/4 of that wiring, the impreza has alot less wiring to it and the computer is under the glove box. I also have a 93 legacy front wheel drive in my yard that i am stripping there is a alot more wiring in it than the impreza. I also have a 95 impreza wiring harrness that i haven't cut down yet wow less that 1/2 the wiring in it that the legacy has in it. Thanks Jerry
dudesmccool
Today I'm going to start tackling the coolant hoses. I already purchased a torch with silver solder(plumbing). Now I need to find some pics for reference and buy some copper elbows to braze. Edited February 2, 2015 by dudesmccool
dudesmccool
Well the upper radiator hose is connected. I cut 1" off of the ea hose and put it on the upper outlet. I cut off 1" off both sides of the ej hose and clamped it down on the ea hose. Feels secure
dudesmccool
Modified my lower ea radiator inlet last night. I brazed a 1" copper elbow on
dudesmccool
Finished brazing the copper elbows on the radiator last night. Looks sealed and a direct angle to the engine
Fish-N-Fool
Modified my lower ea radiator inlet last night. I brazed a 1" copper elbow on I hope you mean soldered. Brazing is with a bronze welding wire and soldering is with a silver/lead/tin solder. That is used for radiators.
dudesmccool
Then yes I soldered it
