1-3-2-4 Posted February 11, 2015 Share Posted February 11, 2015 I was replacing the driver side strut and I guess I did not know it kinda slid out enough to make a puddle.. Fairtax4me Posted February 12, 2015 Share Posted February 12, 2015 They don't normally just "slide" out. Usually need some oomph to pop the circlip out. I would pull the axle the rest of the way out and make sure the circlip is still on the end. Spin the circlip around so the opening is pointing down, then slide the axle in, line up the splines and give it a good shove. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

1-3-2-4 Posted February 12, 2015 Author Share Posted February 12, 2015 Got it back in had to take the axle nut off and push it back in that way.. funny thing was all the pushing on it did nothing but as soon as i took the axle nut off and pushed the axle in from the outer CV axle it went back in with no issue.
