Mikevan10 Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 MUST the driver's side camshaft pulley be removed in order to replace the water pump on an EJ22? If so, I will need to come up with a way to hold the pulley in order to loosen the pulley bolt since I already removed the timing belt. Advice? Thank you very much! Mike V. ocei77 Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 No you do not. Just need to disconnect the bypass pipe and radiator hoses and the bolts. Wiggle or pry to remove.
