Subruise
My friend has a 96 lego wagon AT, with the following symptoms. NSS was replaced once already, and I have yet to see the car. This cant be the first time this has happened. searching was unfruitful so Im trying the direct approach: Check engine light flashing, says it's the neutral safety switch (which is replaced with a new one) but car randomly dies and it will fire back up and die again a few miles down the road
Fairtax4me
Random stalling is probably the MAF sensor. NSS code could be misadjustment of the shift cable or Park/Nuetral switch. What's the actual code number?

mikec03
And when the MAF fails, it doesn't always set a code. It's apparently a temporary short in the device wiring. It can't be fixed by cleaning. Just get a used replacement..
