distinctive Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 I have a dl wagon that I want to rebuild but want to know what options i have to make it better. I am thinking of doing a rally cross type of look so it would be nice to have more power and better suspension, I plan on stripping the body completely and starting fresh. Any ideas? I would like to drop a new drivetrain and suspension from a newer model and was wondering what can be done. I dont want to cut up the frame to make things fit so something that would bolt in would be preferable. kirzick Posted May 27, 2015 Share Posted May 27, 2015 You could do a high comp spfi ea81. They are great motors and put out around 120 hp depending on the build. I built a big valve motor, which is from 83+. My build: spfi conversion mill .03 off each head spfi pistons or ea71 pistons hp cam grind As for a trans you could run a 5 spd single range.
